ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Hayley
Kruger was born and raised in the Southern parts of Africa and now
lives in London, so it is through living in these varied places that she
has found influence for her designs.
The vibrancy and
fascinating construction of botanical elements along the sub-tropical
east coast of Africa is clearly visible in Hayley’s pieces, but it is
the rise of strong female icons in history and popular culture such as
Barbarella, Joan of Arc and Miriam Makeba, that give the essence to her
collections.
Hayley’s pieces are strong, vibrant and are for a woman who
wants to make an impact.
All constructed using her signature material suede, the bold designs are
tactile and luxurious hence Hayley is now stocked internationally and
has had her work shown at several prestigious galleries and events such
as London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, jewellery gallery Platform and
London Fashion Week.
